.General Information and Policies of the Utah Winter Faire
We know people have questions, so we’re hoping you will find the information you need. If not, please use the email link on the bottom of the home page of the website. We’ll respond as soon as we can.

When
The Faire runs 3 days, but the hours differ each day. The Box Office will open 40 minutes early to process online tickets and sell on site tickets. The lobby area of Building 1 will be available prior to the doors opening.
Friday 4-9 PM  Kids’ Day, kids accompanied by adults get in free for the FIRST HOUR only.
                Saturday 12-8 PM
                Sunday    12-6 PM

Where
The Utah Winter Faire is held at the Legacy Event Center in Farmington.  We utilize the 3 buildings on the south end of the complex.

Ticket Information
You may buy tickets online at a discounted rate, or at the door. If you buy at the door, there are 2 ways to get a discount: come in full costume, or bring a food item for the Bountiful Pantry Food Drive.  One discount per ticket only.  Kids 6 and under are free. We do not offer military, student, or senior discounts.
Ticket types: Day pass, good any day of the Faire. The online tickets say Friday, but they WILL be honored on ANY of the 3 days.  Weekend Pass.  Day Group Pass – up to 6 people, does not have to be a family. All members must enter together. Weekend Group Pass – up to 6 people, all must enter together on first day to get wristbands.  Ticket information and online ticket link is on the website.
Tickets are not refundable, but you may transfer them to someone else as needed. Forward your ticket mail to them.

Parking
The parking is free, the lot to the west of the complex is the best area to park if there is room. There are other parking lots in the area, one to the southeast and one to the northeast of the buildings we use. They are a bit of a walk.  You may drop off passengers in front of the gate and ticket booth before parking.

Restrooms and Water
There is a water fountain in the Great Hall (building 1 with the Food Court) where you can fill water bottles.
Restrooms are located in Building 1 and there are restrooms accessible from outside on another building.  No restrooms in Buildings 2 or 3, and no water fountains there either.
The Faire is held in multiple buildings. You will go outside to walk between the buildings. The South Pavilion where the fighting is held has open sides and is not heated. Coats, cloaks, etc. recommended if the weather is cold. The South Pavilion closes at sundown.

Information Booth, Lost and Found, First Aid
The information booth is in Building 2. You can pick up the instructions for the Kids’ Quest there, get information, and exchange CASH ONLY for Faire coins if you’d like.  This is also the Lost and Found.
First Aid is located in an RV between Building 3 and the South Pavilion.

Contests
There are two contests aside from our Facebook promotions.
The Utah Winter Faire Treasure Chest is for holders of ONLINE tickets only purchased through Yapsody.
The “Thank You” Contest is open to all. Every ticket holder receives one ticket at check-in. Patrons who bring a food item for the Bountiful Pantry Food Drive receive 2 additional up to 8 total. You are welcome to bring more food items than that, of course. We will need your email address (please write legibly) to contact the winners after the Faire. We do not sell or use your email addresses in any other way.

Service Animals Only
Please do not bring your pets. Designated service animals only.

Weapons and Costumes
Please keep your costumes family-friendly.
You may bring your real bladed weapons, we will peace-bond them so they cannot be drawn. Please don’t try to get around this, we don’t want to have to ban them.
No real guns. Nerf guns, costume guns, prop guns okay.  We’ll tag them so our Safety Team knows they’ve been checked.

Kids Area
The Village Green is in Building 3.  We have fun activities for kids, some make-and-take crafts, some educational demos, and free play opportunities.  The Village Green is not a drop-the-children daycare center, so please do not leave your children there unattended.  We’ll have some chairs in the area for weary parents to rest while keeping an eye on their kids.

The No-Nos
No non-prescription drugs, no alcohol, no smoking including vaping, no harassment.
This is pretty much common sense. We cannot have alcohol at our event, so it’s illegal. Smoking is illegal at the Event Center, inside OR out,  including vaping. If you have prescription drugs you must take during the time you are at the Faire then please do so.
We do not tolerate harassment of any kind. Period. If you believe you are being harassed go straight to a Safety Team volunteer, Volunteer Central in Building 3, or to the Information Booth in Building 2.
No entry without wristband. You will be given a wristband at check-in. Place this wristband on your wrist before entering the building.  If you are parking in the back lot please walk up to the ticket booth on the sidewalks outside to get your wristband.
No Unsupervised Children please.  Many of our vendors have invested a lot of time and money in their products, so please help insure their security by keeping your children close by and under supervision .

Thank You!
Thank you for being a patron of our Faire. We appreciate the support and will do our best to ensure an enjoyable, entertaining event for all.
