When you step into the Utah Winter Faire you often find yourself surrounded by friendly people in amazing costumes. Many of them are our patrons who take the opportunity to display their joy of dressing up. Many of them are our Feature Characters, Color Characters, and Performers. Many of our entertainers return to share their talents year after year. This year we are opening a new area, adding a new activity, and spotlighting one of our props. We're looking for people to join us in making the Year of the Snow Gryphon our biggest and best year ever.
We would like a few more color characters or groups. Color characters move around through the Faire in character to interact with the patrons. Roving interactive characters should have a good concept for their character and a "hook" for engaging patrons. Minstrels, shady peddler, jugglers, fantasy characters on a quest, etc. would be most welcome. Are you a spontaneous poet? Can you make up a rhyme on the fly? Are you a Spellslinger with a wand on your hip and a spell on your lip ready to duel any witch, warlock, or wizard? Apply under the "color character" category. Click the applications link.
